Hello, World! And Hello, [t/suki]! Let’s just hope that I actually finish this project within a reasonable amount of time. It’s about a guy who begins his search through pi to find any meaningful clue about the Mysterious _ **“IT”** _ after a decade of being tormented by the inexplicable urge to find _ **IT** _. So what do I have so far? Could start with something simple like searching for the [first occurrence of some digits of PI](https://www.angio.net/pi/piquery.html)? `IT` literally (as ASCII in this example) first appears at position 18942 (with 1-indexing, 18941 if 0-indexing). You can probably do a lot with a number like that; could be interpreted as Feb (or Jan) 1894. Or maybe looking for their own name. Or finding when PI partially repeats itself (31415926 is at 50366472 with 1-indexing). [Or ignore the digits themselves and just see where Pi itself shows up](https://slate.com/technology/2017/03/all-the-places-pi-shows-up-beyond-circles.html) and see if you can think of some cool things. Might want to [watch the movie Pi](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pi_(film)) for inspiration too. It is a wild ride, but do note that as far as content warnings go, big one here for self-harm. ---

I’ve used Pi-Search before, it’s pretty cool. I guess i never really mentioned what I planned on searching for, but I’m planning on searching for Text and Images, so I plan on writing my own program to search for those things within hex digits of pi. As for the film, I might have heard of it before, it seems interesting. ---

Hello, World! It’s been a while since I last did anything with _ **the search for IT** _, so what’s been going on? Bad. Since the release of the first episode, IT’s been hit with the same curse that many of my other projects have faced, IT’s none other than the dreaded _demotivation_. This has been especially amplified by the fact I’ve recently lost a lot of assets that I never backed up, which included the files for the first episode. In other words: IT’s not doing great at all. ---

Hello, World! I just want to stop by for a moment to say Happy PI day! I wish I had any kind of update, but the project is still on indefinite hiatus. The project is simply just too much for me to handle at the moment, I absolutely hate the idea of canceling it, but it’s just something I can’t do on my own, nor is it something I can work on at this time.
