I was thinking it might be fun to do a letterboxd thing here, but for video games, and I found out there’s actually a video game tracker that someone made already called backloggd. Doesn’t look like we can self-host it unfortunately, but it looks fun!

Just to add on, I vastly appreciate Backloggd’s review system over Metacritic or other sites for one reason; they actually show review spread. For example, if there’s a game that is particularly appreciated by specific subculture but not as easily appreciated by the common person, it’ll properly represent that by showing the review distribution. Games like these would show a strong grouping around 4-5 stars and then a looser distribution in the 2-3 stars instead of an average that would misrepresent the game.
