Hi everyone,

My name is Tomas. I love making games, and I love playing games. I’m a big fan of sci-fi, too.

Right now, I’m working on a rhythm game as a games user researcher. I help the developers design the game by running playtests, analyzing player feedback, and presenting data-driven insights to the team. They’ve been working on it for almost two years now. Check it out here:

I still make games as a hobby, but it takes more time now. The last game I finished was Encryption Fantasy, a top-down space shooter about hacking evil corporations inside of cyberspace. Try it out:

I’m currently working on a little game in RPG Maker. I’ll post more about it when I’ve got something to show off.

As for some other facts about me: I’m an avid boardgamer, but actually my favorite sci-fi media is songs.

My favorite boardgames are Fury of Dracula, Android Netrunner, and whatever crazy complicated thing I’m into this month (currently: Earthborne Rangers).
My favorite sci-fi songs are “Pushin’ the Speed of Light”, “Planetbound Lovers”, and “Riders of the Rim”. If you’ve never heard of them, give them a listen! You won’t be disappointed.

I think the most interesting sci-fi song I know is an afrofuturist song called The Deep by clipping.

While looking up the song to share here, I found out that it apparently also got adapted into a book. I’ll have to check it out from the library sometime.
