Hello, I am Manadono, and I got terminal brain zoomies.

I like making things, especially tangible things, I spent about 5 years after I graduated learning blacksmithing. I learned some luthiery at the same time, so I could fix my guitars (my babies) and now all my friends use me as a tech. I started learning Unreal in 2019, and it’s taken over my life!! Before Unreal, I made maps for Counter-strike, and tilesets for RPG Maker 2003.

I also enjoy playing music, playing my guitars. I have the plans to build a couple of guitars as well, but I have no time to actually do it and I need (want (need)) a plunge cut router to make them look professional.

I’m bad at art, bad at drawing, but I enjoy the process, especially photomanip, collage and pixel art and making silly voxel models in magicavoxel! I’m really good at typography!!

I also love VR! it’s really cool, if you have a VR game I am here for it!!!

My major is in Japanese, if you need help with Japanese it was my major, I am literally qualified. However, I haven’t been there since like 2013, I’m so out the loop if you need jargon or slang maybe find a native speaker!!

Hey Mana! Welcome to the forum, it’s nice to see you here. I didn’t know you were interested in making guitars! Do you want to make electric ones or acoustic ones? I imagine the process is quite involved either way, but rewarding.

I will be building electrics from scratch, one for practice and one for real (a clone of the guitar I wanted to buy when I went to Japan but had no money for :frowning: ). I have an acoustic (classical 1/2 scale) that requires basically rebuild level maintenance as well (and a bass) :frowning: (poor babies)
