I’ve released a playable pre-demo build of my mushroomancer game at Smol Mushroomancer by smolblockboi!
For the past couple weeks, I’ve been working on my next Smol game called(currently) Smol Mushroomancer. It’s a 2.5D mushroom management sim with no real time limits where you play as Witchy who has embraced capitalism and decided to become a mushroomancer to maximize profits.
Instead of the traditional tools like a watering can and hoe, players will use spells that can water, summon tree stumps for spores, and insta-grow various fungi. These can be upgraded by throwing money at the respective elemental statues found at the shrine.
Different mushrooms can be then processed via kitchen/apothecary appliances to further maximize profits. Each harvested bunch will yield mycelium strands which can then be processed into building materials to upgrade facilities and other things outside of Witchy’s abilities.
