t/suki s3 and cdn upgrade and maintenance

This Discourse instance will go down on Saturday, September 14 at 17:00 UTC for a data migration, which I am hoping won’t take longer than two hours.

t/suki is currently storing all media assets on the main server, but we are running out of space and it is quite expensive. I need to move the media assets to object storage, which will be significantly cheaper.

You can find updates about the site’s status while it is down at:

I forgot to do the maintenance on September 14th, so I’ll be doing it on the 21st instead.

t/suki maintenance completed! Assets are now being served from S3 and a CDN. You can find notes/logs about the migration here: t/suki logs

If you run into any issues with assets not loading properly, please let me know in this thread so I can take a look!
