The Sims... tabletop?

Apparently there’s now a The Sims board game

Watching the “how to play” video, it’s confusing. It doesn’t help that the video script jumps around and glosses over stuff, but besides that, trying to fit a non-rp board game around The Sims feels kinda awkward.

But that makes me wonder…
Is there a sims-like tabletop RPG?

And if not, can we invent one? :stuck_out_tongue:

Wow, that how to play video was… really bad at teaching the game, I think. It seemed more focused on selling the game than teaching it.

Seems like a really simple game though. I’m not sure if I recall a specific tabletop game that is like the Sims, but I feel like most tabletop RPG games let you do this in much more interesting and fun settings.
