the zone in stalker (1979)

I watched Stalker (1979) recently and I was really struck by how visually gritty, wet, and vibrant the Zone is. I found it inspiring, so I just wanted to share some stills from the movie that I really like with y’all:

I skimmed through some of the scenes. It’s so beautifully composed at every point. I’ve got to watch this at some point.

I found myself a bit impatient and bored watching it… but then I was still thinking about it a few days later. It really gets stuck in your head somehow!
