i’ve recently had a big celeste mod kick, been playing some beginner/intermediate Strawberry Jam levels, as well as Glyph (which is really, really good!). i’ve been meaning to get into Mina the Hollower but i just KNOW it’s going to eat up all my time so i’m pushing that as far back as possible…
Lately I’ve been back on my Terraria nonsense, and I’ve also been learning to make mods for it. I have hundreds and hundreds of hours in vanilla but never tried out mods for the game. It’s meant dipping my toe back into the C# swamp, but I’ve been enjoying the process nonetheless 8]
Lately, I’ve been playing Hardspace: Shipbreaker, Minecraft, Subnautica: Below Zero, and Subnautica 2.
I’ve played Minecraft before – I got into it when survival was in development and I stopped playing it around the time the End was added. So much has changed in the game since then! Though… I’m playing it with a bunch of people from OMFO and they’re playing with mods too, so I’m not entirely sure how much of it is mods and how much of it is new stuff added to the base game.
I’m playing the other games for the first time. I like Hardspace: Shipbreaker, but the story feels like it drags on a bit too long for my taste. Something about the pacing feels slow to me. Subnautica: Below Zero has pretty good pacing, though it’s clear how much QoL it’s missing when compared to Subnautica 2. And Subnautica 2 is… well, it’s in early access so I understand that it’s rough, but my main criticism is that it’s way too chatty, overloading you with so much information that the experience of exploration is pretty unenjoyable (I largely agree with this review of it).
I’ve mostly been playing Fallout 4 recently. It doesn’t have a particularly good story but I do enjoy the actual gameplay (EXCEPT FOR SURVIVAL MODE, THAT’S JUST PAINFUL).
Small bit of celeste as well, don’t play modded levels much though.
I do want to get into Vintage Story though, seems silly :3
havent been doing a lot of “real” gaming since the employment arc in march. i am keeping my elo from time to time and still incrementally working on rd customs, but this is about it
