I’m ColdEmber,

I’m the type of person that have 100 half done projects and even more that I didn’t start. I’m French and I’m currently living in Netherlands at the moment. I also lived in Belgium and I’d love to live in Japan for a time!

Professionally, I’m a programmer and I worked in factories, web/tech and pharma. Before falling in love with programming, I was doing a PhD in Human Biology, but I stopped.

With my last job, I got tired to overwork myself for peanuts, so I decided to quit and overwork myself for myself. I have even less peanuts at the moment. I have a company with my delicious partner.

I’m currently struggling to develop Dice’n Goblins, a 3D dungeon crawler with dice based combat. I have a blog for my hobby stuff, but those days, it’s mostly gamedev: https://emberger.xyz/. I also released a couple games on itch.io: https://coldember.itch.io/

When I don’t gamedev, I play videogames (mostly VN and dungeon crawlers), stresses out about learning Japanese but not opening my books (I have the N5 in July :') ), paint and draw (I’m not good but it’s soothing). I also reads mangas and books in certain quantities. I used to hoard board games but I cured myself.

Ah for real ? That’s really cool. I’d really like to go back there, update a few stuff and draw more levels, because it’s just dumb fun (and I just really like puzzle bobble). Glad you liked it.
