t/suki Sociocracy

Sociocracy

t/suki is a community-run Sociocratic organization. For t/suki, Sociocracy is a way to use consent-based decision-making and a decentralized system of power and authority to make decisions that work for as many people as possible while staying true to the organization’s vision and mission, which are:

Vision: We dream of a world where game developers and game enthusiasts have a space where they feel connected, supported, and empowered.

Mission: To provide robust digital services and vibrant digital-first community spaces for game developers, creators, and game enthusiasts to connect.

Circles

t/suki is organized into multiple circles which operate autonomously, all of which are doubly linked through a leader and delegate. Within circles, roles and their term lengths are decided using the Sociocratic selection process.

The process roles which each circle should have are leader, facilitator, delegate, and secretary. However, since it’s largely up to each circle to operate in the way they see fit, these are not the only roles in a circle and it’s up to circles to define what these other roles are.
